FelixKing Big and Tall Office Chair: A Wide Gaming Chair for Flexible Sitting
A gaming chair needs to do more than provide a place to sit, especially if you prefer wider seating or change positions frequently. The FelixKing Big and Tall Office Chair is built around that idea, combining a 400-pound maximum weight recommendation with a 22-inch seat depth, adjustable armrests, reclining support, and a retractable footrest. Its design is aimed at gaming but also works for desk work, reading, and relaxing.
What Makes the FelixKing Gaming Chair Stand Out?
A Gaming Chair Designed Around More Sitting Space
The standout feature is the 5-gear adjustable armrest system. The armrests can swivel outward by up to 90°, increasing the available sitting width from 22 to 46.5 inches. That extra room is particularly useful if you like sitting cross-legged, kneeling, or changing leg positions while gaming.
The 22-inch seat depth also gives the chair a noticeably spacious seating area. Its foam cushion uses a spring core, providing a combination of cushioning and structural support rather than relying solely on soft foam.
Reclining and Footrest Add More Flexibility
The chair has three reclining positions from 90° to 135°. The 90° position is appropriate for regular desk and gaming use, while the deeper angle provides a more relaxed position for watching content or taking a break.
The retractable footrest makes the reclining function more practical. It can be extended when you want to lean back and support your legs, then pushed away when you return to an upright gaming position.
Faux Leather Makes Maintenance Straightforward
The seat uses faux leather over foam cushioning, with a metal frame and metal construction. The manufacturer describes the covering as waterproof, abrasion-resistant, and cat-scratch resistant, while the listed care instruction is simply to wipe it clean.
That combination is useful for a gaming setup where food, drinks, or pet hair can become everyday concerns. The wider seat also gives pet owners more room when a pet joins them beside or on the chair.
Who Should Buy This Gaming Chair?
This FelixKing chair makes the most sense for big and tall users and gamers who need more seating flexibility. The 400-pound maximum weight recommendation, 22-inch seat depth, outward-moving armrests, and 46.5-inch maximum sitting width directly address the need for additional room.
It is also a practical choice if you want one chair for gaming, working, reading, and reclining rather than a chair designed exclusively for upright gameplay.
However, the oversized design is not automatically an advantage for everyone. At 27.2 inches wide, it needs sufficient space around your desk. If you prefer a compact gaming chair or rarely change your sitting position, its larger footprint and extra adjustment range may not be necessary.
What Should You Check Before Buying?
Start with the 400-pound maximum weight recommendation and 22-inch seat depth to make sure the basic dimensions suit you. Then consider whether you will actually use the adjustable armrests and reclining function.
If you regularly sit cross-legged or need room to reposition your legs, the armrests are one of the chair's most useful features. If you mainly sit upright, the chair's oversized construction may be less important.
The chair also requires assembly, with the manufacturer estimating 15–25 minutes.
Questions to Consider Before Buying
Q1: Is the FelixKing Big and Tall Office Chair good for gaming?
A: It is designed for gaming and provides features that support longer gaming sessions, including adjustable lumbar support, a high back, adjustable armrests, and three reclining positions. Its wider structure is particularly suited to gamers who prefer changing sitting positions.
Q2: Can you sit cross-legged in the FelixKing chair?
A: Yes. The armrests can swivel outward by up to 90°, expanding the available sitting width from 22 to 46.5 inches. This is specifically intended to accommodate cross-legged, kneeling, and other wider sitting positions.
Q3: How far does the FelixKing gaming chair recline?
A: The chair has three reclining positions ranging from 90° to 135°. It also includes a retractable footrest for use when reclining.
Q4: Is this chair suitable for big and tall users?
A: The chair has a 400-pound maximum weight recommendation and an oversized design with a 22-inch seat depth. Those specifications make it more suitable for users who need additional seating space than a conventional narrow gaming chair.
Bottom Line
The FelixKing Big and Tall Office Chair is most suitable for gamers who need more space than a conventional gaming chair provides. Its 400-pound maximum weight recommendation, 22-inch seat depth, outward-adjustable armrests, 90°–135° reclining range, and retractable footrest all serve a clear purpose: giving you more ways to sit, recline, and adjust your position. If you regularly sit cross-legged, need a wider seating area, or want a gaming chair that can also work for reading and relaxing, the FelixKing is worth considering. If you prefer a compact chair and normally maintain a fixed upright posture, its oversized design may be unnecessary.
